‘Mettam st’ is a stunning minimalist inspired architecturally designed home on the Perth coast by Leon of Leonhouse Design.
What was their issue?
Leon is a self confessed lover of beautiful large interior glass skylights and minimalist exterior design and this home featured exactly that. He reached out and asked if we could look after his client who would require shade in the heat of summer and a solution to achieve this while still fitting the aesthetic and that we did.
What did we do?
We installed a sleek full cassette automated folding arm awning to the concrete fascade which at the touch of the button provided shade to the amazing pool area and negated the need for any permanent structure.
We coupled this with our automated conservatory awning fitted seamlessly to the existing frame above the living room skylight. Both finished in a timeless Monument matte powder coat.
How’s it going?
The clients couldn’t be happier as they are able to control light and heat in their home and pool area with total ease. We look forward to continuing to work on Leon’s beautifully designed homes in the future.
